Diplomatic opportunities for a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are diminishing
The events in Nagorno-Karabakh show that diplomatic capacity to resolve the conflict has diminished. Azerbaijani troops continue to attack. Baku's next goal is to block the Lachina corridor, but then the capture of Stepanakert, the capital of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, will only be a matter of time. In turn, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan called for the formation of fellow citizens in voluntary units, acknowledging that at the current stage there is "no diplomatic solution" to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
